  • Min Seto leads the Australian Social Value Bank, a not-for-profit, start-up, social enterprise, introducing a new approach to social impact measurement in Australia.

    Min has held leadership positions within the human services sector for nearly 15 years. She was responsible for the creation and delivery of the eHealth Change and Adoption Schedule across Central Queensland and more recently acted as the Innovation lead within a Service Development role for a Community Housing Provider.

    Min enjoys the challenge of introducing new and innovative approaches within dynamic environments and brings her strategic vision and practical implementation skills to the Board of PEDAL, as it transitions under the NDIS funding model.

    Min has a strong sense of social justice and believes access to early intervention services, such as PEDAL, can help to avoid long term social disadvantage.

    Min has served on the Board of PEDAL since 2015, Vice President since 2017 and accepted role as President and Chair in 2019

  • Alan St Clair is a retired Banker from a major bank with over 37 years’ experience and more recently owns a farm.

    After receiving early training in branch banking practices leading to a sound knowledge of housing, personal loans and commercial lending, Alan achieved Fellow status in the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance. His career subsequently spanned the areas of IT, Treasury, Marketing, Branch Restructure and Operations.

    He has always been community minded and the opportunity to provide advice on financial matters in support of Pedal fitted that desire.

    Alan has been married for 49 years, has three children and seven grandchildren. After spending many years being actively involved in the Scouting movement and later as a Rotarian at both District and Club level, he was attracted by Pedal ethos in support of young people who need early intervention help.

  • Poh was born in Singapore and came to study at the University of New England where she graduated with Honours in Botany. She became an Australian Citizen in 1965.

    Poh was a UNE Botany Tutor and Dean’s assistant while researching for a Master’s degree. In 1987 she was Armidale’s Bicentennial and the Bicentenary Travelling Exhibition coordinator. Later she was the Armidale City and the Armidale Dumaresq councils’ Public Relations Officer (1989-2012); as a volunteer she coordinated the Armidale 150 years and Wollomombi between two bridges publications for Council to ensure local history was preserved.

    In 2015 she joined the Pedal Board as she strongly believes in the importance of early learning for all children. Poh continues to be involved with activities for the young and old in our community. She and her husband David have two daughters and three granddaughters, and they all call Armidale home.

  • Jane has worked in the human services sector for over 30 years. Jane has completed a Bachelor of Social Sciences with Honours at the University of New England (UNE) and is currently completing her Masters of Social Work at UNE. 

    Jane commenced her career in the human services sector in Queensland working for the first federally funded HIV/AIDS Council, the Queensland Aids Council (QuAC). Jane has worked in NSW local government for 14 years in the community services sector pursuing change with, and on behalf of, vulnerable groups living in our community.

    Jane has worked in the NSW district court system to advocate on behalf of women and their children who are victims of domestic violence.  Jane is currently work in a child protection program which aims to work with vulnerable families to support them establish safe home environments where their children can live and learn.

    Jane has been on the Board for over 5 years and has been part of the service change brought about by the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) which has introduced a more market-style system where government funding no longer comes directly to Pedal, as service provider, instead goes to the client. 

    Jane have a love of the ocean and swimming. Jane enjoys delighting in other cultures especially their food and dance. Jane also enjoys spending time with her family.
